In 16th-century England, the day of the village fair was eagerly anticipated. There were artisans and fortunetellers, jesters and acrobats, musicians and all kinds of savory foods. For that one day, the classes mingled, gentry rubbed shoulders with peasants, aristocrats spoke to gypsies. St. Francis Episcopal Church wants to recreate that atmosphere. Our goal is to make our Faire as entertaining as it is educational, with something to interest everyone.

In keeping with the spirit of the 16th century, at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday March 7th, St. Francis will be celebrating an authentic Elizabethan Mass. Come experience our Anglican roots through worship that will revisit the days of Renaissance! Worship will use liturgy from the year 1559.

Join us for a merrie weekend in the tiny village of
St. Francis-upon-the-hill!

And also, please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions about the Faire or how you can get involved.
